- To promote all forms of industrial, trade and investment cooperation between Hellas and China (Statutes and rules of procedures of the Centre, 2013)
- To contribute to the entrepreneurial, cultural and touristic cooperation between Hellenic and Chinese companies (BD decision of 10 Jan. 2013)
- To strengthen the knowledge and expertise of Hellenic companies wishing to approach the Chinese market and of Chinese companies wishing to approach the Hellenic one
The Hellenic-Chinese Centre for Entrepreneurship aims to become an effective bridge between Hellenic and Chinese business people and to develop a valuable policy analysis capacity on entrepreneurial and other public policies having an impact on business exchange between the two countries. To do this it works in close cooperation with business educational centers and universities, local governments and business associations. It is a non-profit organization aimed at improving Hellenic and Chinese companies’ competitiveness and cooperation by facilitating exchanges of experience and know- how between Hellenic and Chinese businesses.
The Hellenic-Chinese Centre has its head office in Athens.
It is headed by a President, Ms. Aphrodite Bletas who measures over 20 years of expertise in the Hellenic-Chinese Business relations; and four Vice-Presidents, Mr. Xu Weichun, Professor Yang Xiuqin, Mr. Symeon Neofytos, and Ms. Chen Xueyan each one of them having an expertise in a different business field. However all of them have a unique knowledge of Hellenic-Chinese Business. The Center’s work is also supported by a valuable team of experts from both Communities.
Along with its Board of Directors, the HCCE is assisted in its mission by a Scientific Committee headed by the Rector of the Athens University for Economy & Business (AUEB).
